Laidaxai and The Black Tree (videogame)

Laidaxai and the Black Tree is a 2D action-adventure game inspired by the Argentinean Chaco, based on a magical dream world.
Laidaxai is a child of the Qom community who begins a shamanic journey to save her people from a mysterious illness. Through this spiritual journey, based on the ancestral tale of the Nawe Epaq (Black Tree), the game celebrates women as bearers of memory, strength and healing within their community.

With no violence or enemies to destroy, the player connects with the flora, fauna native to the littoral, and ancestral spirits that inhabit this often forgotten universe. 

This game was created in collaboration with members of the Qom community of Chaco.
